Jack Smale is the president and founding father of the United States of Entertainment. With a long record of service in the entertainment industry, Jack started USE in 2006 from the desire to make every fantasy become reality. Jack is also founder of Motion Business, the company behind Flying Scenery.

From 1984 to 1995 he worked for Mojo Concerts (now known as LiveNation) as Production Manager for U2, Prince and many others in the music industry. In 1996 he founded Sightline Productions, a company that quickly became market leader in the Netherlands, in the field of technical productions for the entertainment industry. Until 2006 Jack was responsible for the artistic and technical designs and productions of all large events. 

selection of highlights since 1985:

• As side coordinator of the U2 Sarajevo concert, Jack lived several months in Sarajevo in 1997. In close cooperation with the US army he coordinated the productions of the concert.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of the 21 day opening of the Amsterdam Arena in 1996.
• European production manager of Night of the Proms in the nineties, a touring arena show with a unique combination of classic and modern music.
• The production of several events round the 25th anniversary of Queen Beatrix.
• Production manager during world tours of several international artists.
• Local production of the MTV European Music Awards in Ahoy Rotterdam in 1997 and in the Ziggo Dome in 2013.
• Production manager of André Hazes during several concerts in the Olympic Stadium and the Amsterdam Arena.
• Complete production of the funeral ceremony of André Hazes in the Amsterdam Arena at the 27th of September 2004.
• Official opening ceremony of the Tour de France in Den Bosch in 1996.
• Corporate show of the 100th anniversary of the Rabobank at several locations in 1998.
• Creative responsible for the official opening of Ex’pression College in San Francisco (college of Eckart Wintzen) in 1999.
